The show features more than 70 performers, comprising both three-year-olds and seasoned performers alike.

Co-producer Elie Roe Daniel urged Tasmanians to "step through the wardrobe and start their festive season with a classic story of courage, honesty and adventure".

"We are especially pleased - in fact roaring with excitement - to be welcoming to the cast for the first time Bradley Beard who will play Aslan. Bradley is a great performer having returned to Australia this year after professional singing and dance roles at Universal Studios Singapore, Genting Skyworlds and Resort World Genting in Malaysia.

"His rehearsal work with our students has been quite special and captivating for them."

The show runs for 105 minutes (with a 15-minute interval) and will be performed five times at the Princess Theatre, which is scheduled to shut in 2026.

There will be two shows on Tuesday, December 2 (11am and 7pm), two shows on Wednesday, December 3 (11am and 6pm) and a final show at 10.30am on Thursday, December 4.

Tickets are available online or by calling or visiting the Princess Theatre. Adults are $35, concession and full-time students $30, children (2-16 years) $25.
