If you need to dash out on New Years Eve or January 1 for booze or extra supplies here is your guide to what's open.
Coles
In VIC, NSW, ACT, WA, QLD, TAS and the NT, stores are open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
All SA stores are open on New Year's Eve.
But all Adelaide metro stores are closed on New Year's Day (except Adelaide Rundle Place - open 11am to 5pm).
Regional SA stores are open from 8am to 8pm.
SA regional stores include Berri, Mount Barker, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge Green, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Victor Harbor and Whyalla.
Opening and closing times may differ from normal at some stores but individual store trading hours are available on their website, a spokesperson said.
Liquorland
All stores in VIC, NSW, ACT, WA, TAS and the NT are open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
In QLD, all stores are open on New Year's Eve, and all stores are open on New Year's Day except Coorparoo, Toowong Station, Milton Village, Red Hill, 195 Adelaide Street, Redcliffe-Anzac Avenue, Albany Creek, Strathpine and BWS Liquor Shop.
In SA, all stores are open on New Year's Eve, and all stores are open on New Year's Day except Greenacres, Gawler Green, Firle, Elizabeth, Parafield Gardens, St Agnes, West Lakes, Paralowie, Port Adelaide, Modbury Heights, Churchill, Athelstone, Munno Para, St Clair, North Adelaide and McLaren Vale.
Bunnings
Trading hours at Bunnings warehouses and small-format stores will vary between Boxing Day and Friday, January 2.
Bunnings Trade Centres and Frame and Truss facilities across the country will be closed from Thursday, December 25, until Monday, January 5.

Kmart stores are open on New Years Eve but hours vary significantly on location.
Slightly reduced trading hours apply to some stores on New Year's Day.
