There haven't been many Launceston games in recent seasons that haven't featured either Meg Radford or Georgia Hill.
However, that was the case on Saturday, and the Blues were still able to find a way for a 5.6 (36) to 3.1 (19) win on the road against Deloraine.

"We were a young, inexperienced side today, with our VFLW girls out and I think they showed some leadership from our young ones today and I couldn't be happier with the result, coming away with a win out here," Launceston coach Ash Smith said.
"It's always tough, Deloraine at home."
The Blues kept the hosts scoreless in the first half, racing out to a 27-point lead at the main break.
Deloraine then rallied, kicking two goals to one in the third term, before kicking the sole goal of the last quarter to have the margin sitting at 17 points.
Ruby Hardcastle, Delta Witt, Grace Le Fevre, Bianca Anderson and Shani Templar hit the scoreboard for Launceston, as coach Smith was impressed by the performances of Maddi Hogarth, Shannon Dunn, Zoe Kingsley and Jorja Haberle.
For Smith, the most pleasing part was an even contribution across the board, something he also pointed out after last week's win over North Launceston.
"I knew we were coming in for a tough game today and our first half was exceptional, I couldn't be prouder of the girls," he said.
"They all stood up in these wet conditions, put their heads over the footy and didn't take a backwards step.
"Weather conditions I thought would suit them more than us with their strong bodies, but really proud, especially of the first half, of my girls and how they applied themselves and put their head over the footy to set us up in a good position."
Karlee Evans, Gyniah Taylor and Danielle Dunstone kicked Deloraine's goals, while Evans, Hallie Meaburn and Karina Baxter all impressed.
In the other matches, South Launceston defeated Scottsdale 8.8 (56) to 0.2 (2), while North Launceston defeated Longford 19.19 (133) to 0.1 (1).
