Launceston coach Jake Hinds is unsure how often Devils bolter Archie Wilkinson will play for the club after he made a surprise appearance in Saturday's big win at Longford.
Wilkinson, who has found a home as a key defender at VFL level, booted three goals in the Blues' 19.13 (127) to 7.5 (47) victory.

He was one of a big number of North talents to sign with SFL clubs over the off-season after registering with Glenorchy.
But league rules state players can apply for a 'season permit request to register to a new club, without changing their home club of affiliation. A season permit requires the approval of the player's current and new club, and their current and new association before the player can complete their registration to their new club.'
"It's pretty simple, there was an opportunity to get him in for a game and we took it," Hinds said.
"He's been playing some good footy with the Devils, but there was a chance to play with his mates.
"We're unsure at the moment (how often he'd play for Launceston). Fingers crossed he's playing for the Devils every week, and the way he's started the year I don't see why he wouldn't be.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it and see how it goes."
Hinds is rapt Wilkinson's application to play at the highest level has paid off.
"He's got all the attributes you need and also the right attitude," he said.
"He's done a lot of work the last 24 months, and got himself in really good condition and super fit.
"He's one of those blokes you want to run out with every Saturday because he's a team first operator."
Longford's loss was compounded by a shoulder injury to midfielder and star recruit Isaac Thompson, who joined the Tigers from Hillwood this year.

Elsewhere Scottsdale fell just short of a breakthrough Premier League victory after a young North Launceston outfit grafted a tough 12.7 (79) to 9.10 (64) win at UTAS Stadium.
The Bombers led by just four points at the last change before a four-goals-to-two final quarter was enough to secure a first victory for the year.
After going winless last year and copping a series of huge beltings, the Magpies would have viewed the contest as an ideal chance to break their duck after being humbled by 182 points by South Launceston in round one.
The Bombers have lost a huge number of players to the Devils VFL side and mainland leagues. Five goals to coach and club legend Allan O'Sign, who had signalled his intent to play some games this season if needed, proved pivotal.
South Launceston secured a second win to start its season with a comfortable 19.17 (131) to 9.7 (61) win over Deloraine at Youngtown Oval.
Matthew Lee, Hunter Farrelly, Will Gibson and Grant Holt all kicked three goals for the Dogs.
