Sporties Hotel
If you're up for a spooky experience with your parmi and pint, check out one of Launceston's oldest pubs.
Built in the 1840s, the cellar at Sporties Hotel used to be a horse stable where a previous publican died more than 50 years ago, said owner Nick Daking, who never believed in ghosts.
But that all changed one day.
"Every time we go downstairs the cellar door moves without fail. Every time you stand in front of it it moves in a particular way," Mr Daking said.
QVMAG
The Queen Victoria Meseum and Art Gallery is a go-to when the weather isn't on your side.
The museum at Inveresk showcases an art gallery, natural science displays, historic railway and blacksmith workshops, the Launceston Planetarium, traditional and contemporary art galleries, and the First Tasmanians cultural exhibition to keep you entertained.
